Prior to moving back to her home state of Florida in 2008, Dessa worked in New York City as an associate in small and medium size law firms where she gained a strong background in general litigation and estates and trust work. In Florida, she initially worked as a contract attorney for DLA Piper, LLP within their mass tort litigation group, before obtaining her a real estate license.

Dessa is now a member of the Elder Law team at Meenan & Associates to provide experienced and knowledgeable support to clients seeking estate planning; trust formation, including supplemental needs trusts, revocable and irrevocable trusts; Medicaid and Medicare planning assistance; and all real estate related matters.

Dessa continues to counsel clients with property in Florida regarding all forms of transactions, including title transfers, partition actions, general and real estate related litigation, zoning and permit issues, and quiet title actions.
